San Jose: Woman found dead at home near Coyote Creek, police investigating as homicide SAN JOSE — Police said a woman was found dead at a home near Coyote Creek in San Jose on Sunday evening in what appeared to be a homicide.In a news release Monday, San Jose police said that officers were called to a home on the 900 Block of Thelma Way around 5:16 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a dead person. Authorities did not say who had called to make the report.Upon arrival, officers found a woman with “obvious signs of physical trauma,” police said, though authorities did not say whether the person was found inside or outside the home.
